• Procedure for Altering or Updating Personal Details

Through the KEP or AMKA offices as is possible to alter or update details of those already registered.

1.���The procedure for altering details 1-13 of article 3 is done at the interested party’s request and is carried out by the KEP or AMKA offices through the corresponding web application.

2.���No detail alteration in the National Registry changes the AMKA after 1/6/2009. The Social Security Number remains the same and applies to one and only one individual.

3.���The Bodies are obliged to update their details with the alterations carried out through the KEP or AMKA offices. IDIKA SA is obliged to provide the FKA with all the necessary details and means in order to carry out the above updating.

4.���In the event that the KEP or AMKA offices determine that the same person has been provided with two or more Social Security numbers, the following procedure applies:

i.��The interested party submits an application to the KEP or AMKA office in order to acquire a correct AMKA. (Statement of double registration in the National Registry).

ii.��The application is accompanied by a corresponding document according to article 4 and forwarded to IDIKA SA.

iii.���IDIKA SA proceeds with the necessary actions and sends the correct card to the interested party’s address.

5.���The Bodies institutions are required to electronically inform IDIKA SA (through the network or telematically) of any alterations in their files in order for the National AMKA Registry to be updated. Furthermore, IDIKA SA may request a file update at regular intervals in order to enrich the National Registry.
